Rusten House Art Centre presents an exhibition of artworks by local Queanbeyan artist Alex Lynn.
Alex Lynn’s exhibition Our Home captures the beauty of the everyday. His paintings aspire to that moment when you stop walking, visually drink in the scene before you, and marvel at the light, atmosphere, and serenity of the moment. Working in oils, Alex mostly paints urban-infused landscapes. He describes his artistic process as slow and deliberate, achieving a diffused focus that captures light and atmosphere with an ethereal effect. Alex invites you to step visually into his world—where he walks with loved ones in the morning and evening, journeys to work, and relaxes with friends.
